Ark Insurance Group has expanded its household portfolio with the introduction of Ark Platinum.
Designed to complement Ark Home Guard and Ark Silver, the new product extends the household proposition into higher-value homes, with Buildings sums insured starting from £1 million and Contents from £100,000.
Ark Platinum combines substantial sums insured with a straightforward online Quote & Bind journey, while retaining direct access to Ark's experienced underwriting team where a risk is better suited to individual consideration.
Capacity is provided by long-term partner New India Assurance, building on a successful trading relationship spanning a number of years.

Ark Platinum provides up to £500,000 of Contents cover, including eligible fine art and valuables, together with specified Personal Possessions cover away from the home.
This allows brokers to address both the physical property and the more valuable contents their clients may own within a single household proposition.
Total specified Personal Possessions cover available away from the home, with a £25,000 single-article limit at launch.

Capacity for Ark Platinum is provided by New India Assurance, one of Ark's long-standing insurance partners.
Following years of successful trading together, the relationship was strengthened through a multi-year binder and increased total sum insured capability.
The launch of Ark Platinum allows that additional capacity to be brought directly into Ark's household portfolio, extending the range of residential risks available to supporting brokers.
